About the Artist

Animals are living treasures that fascinate me. Wild animals have a beauty and mystery about them while our pets have the astounding ability to pull on our hearts. Since I was old enough to hold a crayon, I have been drawing or painting animals.  Throughout my homeschool education, studying art in studio classrooms and under private instructors, I have enjoyed using a variety of medias to capture the color, wonder, and the unique and humorous moments of animals.

 I also enjoy teaching students the skills to capture their own creative moments. I am currently teaching art classes at The Lancaster Academy for the Performing Arts, Heritage Homeschool Academy, and Mainstay Christian Academy.
